I literally had a BB thumper challenge me in front of everyone Saturday night because we were discussing the 11th step, prayer and meditation. I stated I'm an atheist, I don't pray, but I do meditate and when i do it's usually on my character defaults, and working on them. Just basic grounding and mindfulness. He was livid that I said anything out loud and went on to preaching about "a God of your understanding". I wanted to point out that Jimy B, Jim Burwell, the atheist, one of the first AA's is the one that pushed to have that that added. But I didn't. Who cares?

I just want everyone to have a safe, practical space to get sorted out. There are plenty of religious places.
