The book of proverbs in the Bible talks a huge deal about wisdom. However everyone ultimately will have to make a choice to either choose wisdom or scorn wisdom. We are free to choose, but we are not free from the consequences of our choice.
"Wisdom will multiply your days and add years to your life. If you become wise, you will be the one to benefit. If you scorn wisdom, you will be the one to suffer"
