I've been browsing in the dating app, that's how I found this wonderful community!
It's sooo expensive. I mean, we're recovering people, not silver-spoon types... well, most of us aren't lol.

It's pay-to-play. They say there is a "free" version but it's kind of bullsh*t. You can look at a few ppl at first and X or 
, but that's it. You can't see who liked you. I couldn't fill out the entire icebreaker about me stuff.
You get 3 "flirts," which are essentially a second or bigger like.
I did discover that two ppl texted me, just by chance.
I got to look at more ppl today and that's it, other than ads to upgrade in some way ever couple of minutes.

I've got ppl in my area and I'm in the middle of BFE lol.
I think that both apps need work. I have zero idea what algorithm decides who you see on this part of the app, but I've recommended this to friends and cannot see them.
The dating app may be overloaded with ppl in your area or it just may be janky af. I wish there was a better app for dating clean/sober/ recovering ppl.

The dating part of loosid just doesn't have enough people in every area. I'm in CT, very few, I don't use it anymore. There are sites that you can specify if you don't drink or 420. I don't want to promote a different site on here, but the best one I've found starts with an M. Lots of filters and you can find people nearby if you want to pay for a useable subscription.

BTW, I think of the cost as a fraction of what I used to spend at the bar.
