Dating sucks. Dating sober in a heavily self medicated world is worse.

Well it’s not really recommended in early sobriety to date. They say the only relationship you should have in the first year is with yourself. Your sponsor and God.

Thought I was ready at 17 months. I wasn’t.
Well you never know when the right one's going to come along so just keep looking...one day at a time.

Julia, how much time do you have? If it's less than a year, I don't want to come off as a D, but you have no business dating. You need to work on yourself.
Yes, dating does suck. Even at my age it sucks. Those who come knocking on my door of life either have daddy issues or are only interested in me because of my $$ or the vehicles I drive.

Julia, don’t be in a hurry to date. I found it’s better to date the right person than to date the wrong person’s.
Trust that the right person will appear at the right time.
As I had to become the new sober me to attract the right people.
