Fighting this. About to just go to sleep.
My sober date 10 11 25 going on. 4 mouth lam acoustic and a addicted.shot up Meth now lam clean.one day at a time AMAN
Sometimes sleeping is self care
It's ok. Take it one day at a time. Always remember, we are here for you!
Tell yourself I won't ....... (Insert habit here) TODAY!! Do not worry about yesterday or tomorrow or next week.... Focus on TODAY.
Day 2
I just screwed up a couple weeks tonight
I feel horrible but my thoughts somehow are my biggest enemy
You got this !!!
One moment, one day at a time. You’ve got this!!
I say when I'm craving "Don't need it I don't want it"
You got this I'm here for anyone that wants to talk
Keep going
First night can feel like a lot, I remember that stage. Sleep is a win, let your body calm down and pick this back up. Stay with it.
I had to stop fighting and simply surrender to sobriety. In person meetings, sponsors, 12 steps thoroughly and service in the sober community. Then everything got easier and much better.
I’m here if you want to talk about it
My life changed the day I walked into my first meeting! That’s where recovery can be found. You don’t have to fight the battle of addiction/ alcoholism alone. I hope you can get to a meeting!
You can do it. Forgive yourself and rest
Keep doing the 1 day, 2 days, 1 day , 3 days, but go to AA. I kept seeing a guy get monthly chips. I was still drinking for 5 months after the meeting. Pressure built within. I said ‘I’m getting that 30 day chip if it kills me. What a relief and grand day it was!!! That 30 days was the hardest. But I did it. Of course I didn’t want to blow that. Then, 2 mos. The group gave aluminum chips. This is my last recovery so I bought bronze monthly chips signifying serious, beautiful recovery. It did my heart good. You can do it. I relied on those monthly’s like my life depended on them. All groups don’t do monthly but it was crucial for me. God-willing April 29, I pick up 3 yr chip.
For alcohol, it’s Day 1 again also. Best wishes and we CAN do this!
Keep it one day at a time and read the twelve steps and twelve traditions and read the big book stay on the path of sobriety!
