Welcome
Hey Brittany! Welcome! I’m really sorry you’re going through this, but I’m so glad you found this app and made it to Day 1—that’s a huge step! I can’t imagine how tough things must be but you’re not alone in. I’m sure you have folks in real life but also know there is a whole community here to lift you up and help you through it! We’re here if you ever need someone to talk to but for now I would suggest just taking it one day at a time!
Mychal is right ...you certainly are not alone..and I hope I can help in any way possible. I am just one year and one month. 20 days , sober ..and with the grace of my God, as I understand him ...One Day at a Time, and with baby steps. This journey , will completely change you. Who you're with, how you respond to folks, the way you take care of yourself. ...ect. It only gets better and better as time goes on. Remember to always be on alert sober. Pray every morning and thank God for everything you are grateful for, go to AA and NA meetings , get a sponsor and work the 12 steps ...cause it is work.and most importan.most importantly remember and praise yourself for every minute you are sober...oh and oh yea, reach out and find some sober friends..starting with me
Thank you
Welcome Brittany, I understand what you are going through being that I was there once myself . You will pull through all this. Right now you need to stay clean and sober for you first and foremost but also for your son. Keep your eye on the prize. Stay connected and get you a sponsor. Take it one day at a time. Reach out to whatever you call your higher power . I did a lot of praying to my higher power and did all the other things that the program suggested. I Also took it one day , and sometimes I one minute at a time. I Am coming up on 4 years soon. Reach out to me anytime
