Day 1. I’ve tried so many times. I hope I learn the tools to be successful.
If you don’t stops seeking it will come naturally!
The tools are there, a whole community is willing to give them to you. All you need to do is be open to it, and reach for it. Good luck!
How do I hear about them? Please give me ur most effective ones.
Live for today. My problem was that I would constantly focus on a long term goal and couldn’t make it past the weekend without drinking. I just completed my first weekend sober in months. Every morning, I tell myself that I can’t control tomorrow but I can control today. And today I’m not drinking. Good luck.
Just for today my friend
Yes just hang in there for the next 24 hours..then REPEAT!!
Get involved with a program. AA, SMART, Recovery Darhma… anything. Speak your truths. Tell your story. If it’s a step work program, get a sponsor and take the advice given. We give away free what was given freely to us.
Never say never.
I had 3 years went back out for 20 kept trying to only drink 3 drinks. This year 0ct 5 I will have 20 years.
Reach out
Trying to do it alone won’t work.

You can do this
Step 1 is the key
I was the same way. I am amazed at 106 days of sobriety. There was no fkin way I wdve believed it. The rooms changed my life. I was the biggest skeptic and now am a believer.
If you’ll start AA and get a sponsor you will learn all the tools you need.. you can’t do it alone.. just take one day at a time.. don’t look to tomorrow..
Sometimes I have to tell myself "all I have to do is the next 5 minutes" Baby steps, in the beginning less was more for me. Make sure your goals are attainable goals, and you're not trying to do too much. Sponsors and networks are the key.
