If you stay with it, it will turn out to be the best decision you make in your life. I'm 3 years 9months into it. Did not believe in God, and I was 100% positive that AA was bullshit for losers that maybe once and a while got too drunk, and their wives made them join. I was too smart to believe in some God; reciting the Lord's prayer in a church basement seemed incredibly stupid. I was wrong. Under 4 years my life has changed, and the obsession to drink was lifted. I don't ever think about drugs or booze at all. 6 years ago I was homeless. You got this!
