Day 10. Girlfriend moving out. I don’t blame her.
Keep your head up man, use this opportunity to focus on you, use it as motivation to become the best version of yourself, if you rise from this a better man, stronger, sober, and successful, she will see that and do will the other women out there! I lost the love of my life because of my addictions, it took me a while to figure out that I needed to just push through and use this as fuel.. I have now been sober over a year and feel and look better than ever.. you got this man!
Sucks man, but keep at it.
Going thru some sh!t at home myself but we have to keep sober
Less than desirable changes do come upon us sometimes when we get sober. It reminds me of back in 1990 when I was trying to get sober for the first time. It seemed like the more I pulled one way my wife pulled the other until we eventually ended up getting a divorce.
She was losing her drinking partner and she was no way ready to stop drinking herself. Truth be known, the two of us probably didn't belong together to begin with because the only thing we really had in common was that we both liked to drink.
Keeping sober is the most important thing in my life. The most important decision I ever made was my decision to give up drinking. I am convinced that my whole life depends on not taking that first drink. Nothing in the world is as important to me as my own sobriety. Everything I have, my whole life, depends on that one thing.
Keep your chin up, mate.
Trust the process
