I got offered alcohol. I could of easily taken it and no one would of known. But I fought it like hell and said no “I’m 21 days sober. I’m only looking to add more days. I know y’all can relate it’s so hard when it’s offered and it’s right there. It’s hard to stick to it. Keep fighting like hell y’all.
Good job.that’s what it takes.keep up the good work.don’t let your guard down.you are proving a point to those people.they don’t like oh will.
Hell yeah Lacey!! Whenever I’m offered alcohol I always say “no thank you. I’ve had enough for a lifetime already”
It's probably gonna happen alot. Guys are gonna want to buy you drinks. The turning down of an alcoholic drink is a big step. I know when I turn down my stuff, I had already paid for it, and a delay caused me to realize the best case scenario is I live but I would be major consequences or overdose and die. No matter what you do our addiction is always looking for an in and after enough misery, kills us. You, on the other hand, seem like the happiest and most positive person I've seen so early. Damn, your more content with your life than I am at almost eight months. A price must be paid for our sobriety to make up for all the time not sober. It is a daily fight and if I get comfortable or think I'm good, I know I'm in trouble.
