Day 49 - staying busy!! I think this is definitely the key!

According to our basic text, acceptance is the key. Staying busy is just a part of life at times, but the problem with that is I take my mind with me everywhere I go. In my experience, keeping busy helps, but what am I going to do in the downtime? What am I doing today to ensure that I don't pickup no matter what? What happens if I get horrible or tragic news? Am I going to trust God's plan or am I going to turn to my solution for everything?
Congratulations on 49 days clean and sober! That's a lifetime for a guy like me! I had to dive into a 12 step program of action, through daily prayer, and go to a meeting every day with an open mind. I had to be willing to follow the suggestions of sober men who have done this thing for real. Best of luck to you, I will keep you in my prayers!

Move a muscle, change your mind!! 
lots of yard work! Drainage system, retaining wall by hand, and regrading (with my neighbor’s help)! This is truly like therapy for me!
