Just want to say, at day 50 away from ethanol, the straight life is pretty awesome. Not at all perfect, but SO much better than my prior daily drinking for 43 years.
For those just getting started, you can ABSOLUTELY do this and the benefits are tremendous.
And for the record, I’m not an AA guy. If AA works for you, please embrace it. But importantly, if AA is not your thing. don’t give up. There are other good ways to walk the path.
