Day 7 doesn't sound like much but I am so proud! Yesterday I used my treadmill for the first time since my relapse. Being drunk for so long felt like I was asleep or in a dark cloud. Everything was always "tomorrow." I was never thinking clearly even if I didn't notice. Even on the day or two I'd nurse a hangover I was not thinking clearly. I'm starting to feel like I've woken up! It's incredible!

Great Amber. Day seven means you have probably detoxed. Now, your head should start getting clearer. That was a great feeling for me. You will do this!

When you get to that point when you have a clear mind. That is the sweet spot when you have to make the decision to enjoy being sober, and fight every day to not allow your addiction to take that away from you. Your stronger than you think, you got this.
