Day 7 today

This is hard

It certainly was for me.

I was told it is harder to get sober than to stay sober. It has paid off for me.

I did have to be willing to change. Ask for help, he accountable, read, meditate, work with others, not isolate, ask for forgiveness and grace.

I had to do simple things for a complex person like me. I also had to be so desperate that I didn't want the current way of life, I hope you find that gift.

I took. And still take, it one day at a time. Sometimes I break it up into smaller bite size chunks.

It’s not for the faint of heart - fortunately or unfortunately most addicts have been through heck and back and are pretty tough - remember that when you feel yourself weakening ! It gets easier

It is. I remember where you are. I don’t think I had even completely stopped shaking at 6 days. At about 10 days I physically felt better enough for my spiritual condition to begin to improve. If you can hang on, you’ll only have to feel like this once.
