@amity298395 ... Dr. Pope you're welcome. A lot of us struggle with the God thing, believing in a higher power, a mystic being or whatever you want to call it.
No matter how you look at it, we all have to believe in something. As long as it's not the doorknob. Why not the doorknob? It will turn on you at every opportunity.
My suggestion is to read Chapter 4, We Agnostics, in the Big Book of Alcoholics Anonymous and you make the decision.

I hope you can get back on track. Have the talk with your boss. Find the courage to move forward. You are worth it even if it doesnt feel that way now.
