Day one i jist dont see a problem with drinking. My wofe is ready for me to go.

You’re on day one, so don’t try to solve your whole life tonight.
If your wife is ready to leave, something is hurting at home whether you see drinking as the problem yet or not.
Start there. Ask what she’s been carrying, listen without arguing, and give yourself a real chance to stay sober long enough to see what alcohol has been costing you.

Michael, many of us are the last to realize the drinking is a problem. Actually my drinking was my go to for just about everything. Boredom, sorrow, celebration, 5 o’clock anywhere in the world. It was great fun, then fun with problems then just mostly problems. I couldn’t quit drinking for any woman, wife or not. I finally quit for me.
