After a year and a half sober, I'm back to day one.
You got this!
It is all a journey. Keep going and keep learning. Gain insight and go from there. It took me a long time of going back and forth. Just keep moving on and forward. It isn't about time away from something, as what you have gained in dealing with the stuff you may have been working through and coming to terms with that. Learn, but don't wash and repeat. Cheers.
Don’t forget about the year and a half of sober days! You get yourself back up and keep going
What got you? Maybe we can learn from it.
I was on cruise control after 6-7 months. I also began a relationship with someone in early recovery. I knew better but I thought i thought I was strong enough to take the risk.
Thanks for sharing. I get those streaks of cruise control. Thanks for reminding me to stay diligent. Welcome back, man.
Today is a new day fall seven times get up 8
Thanks Shawn.
Thanks Rayne.
Thanks Rylan.
Thanks Desiree.
Thanks Cara.
Be kind to yourself. This hit home-I was only sober 5 months before starting a relationship that led to slipping. I’m now at 14 days-longest I’ve been sober since 11/2019. Better to begin again than never again🙏
No doubt. It's humbling to discover you're not as far along in recovery as you assumed you were, but there's only way to go and that's forward.
Good morning, the good thing that I find about what I’m feeling is not giving up totally. At least you are talking about it. Like myself showing that we are aware of our wrong doing.
