Day one

I played mind games with myself all day yesterday, almost like I set myself up for failure :ok_woman: there were things I could have done to avoid the relapse, I previously made it to 100 days.. getting back on track has been much harder than I thought! I don't speak on my problem with alcohol, I don't have much family, and I don't feel as if the few friends I still have would even understand if I did tell them. My children's father knows, but we don't talk about it because he also deals with alcoholism. I'm a functioning alc, so I guess I've never felt the need to broadcast my problem. But with the help of communities like this, and my other app I love.. I'm realizing that talking about it might be one of the keys I'm missing to unlock a successful sobriety. Going to have lunch with him tomorrow, going to let him know how I'm feeling :ok_woman: need to try AA again.. but last time I tried I felt like it wasn't for me, maybe I just haven't found the right meeting :handshake:.
