Day One

First day (again, of course). But I love the approach of this new to me App. The focus is NOT on staying away from alcohol but rather on what you can fill your life with instead of alcohol. I feel I can be successful with this new framework in my mind. I’m also going to work hard to end my isolation. Struggles with anxiety and depression have left me with very few supports I feel comfortable relying on or truly opening up to. Well, none actually. Time for some change :nerd_face:

Remember, there is no race there is no finish line. what worked for me was sponsorship working the steps service to others and the god of my understanding

I am sure that you already know that drinking will increase your depression, anxiety.
Drinking makes every last thing absolutely worse.

Make a list of what you will fill your time with-which could include attending meetings ( in person or online ); hobbies, exercise, the positive alternatives to drinking are endless…also, remember that cravings usually last for like under 20 minutes if even that long ( you can look it up :)!…take it moment by moment.

And remember that you are worth remaining sober for!
