Day seven for me. My First week of sobriety. Alcoholism has destroyed my life. Mixed with a TBI from a car wreck a year ago. I keep blacking out and waking up in handcuffs. 3 times since the accident last year. I’ve promised my kiddos I would never touch it again. 1 week down.

You can do this! Happy 1 week anniversary!!! I know the feeling of doing it for your family but do it for you too! You are worthy to be the best person for yourself. Forgive yourself and keep striving for one step forward and know we are all here for you.

Well considering I lost everything due to alcohol I am staying with my parents till I go in. They are going to watch my kiddos while I’m in. Basically I detoxed in the spare bedroom with lots of weed and no car keys. I’ve had to go to the ER twice now. So they gave me some pain meds. But just weed and sleep I all I’ve really been doing.
