Today I’m grateful:
Today I’m grateful for my 406 days of sobriety. I would have never thought this was possible if you would have asked me 13 months ago and for that I remain grateful. I’m grateful for hitting my knees last night and this morning to thank and ask GOD to keep me sober! I’m grateful for the promises of AA really working in my life. I’m grateful for my sponsor and sponsees because they make this program easier and worth it! Step 12 is really where it’s at for me today and I see it! I’m grateful to have made it to work safe and on time today. I’m grateful that I was able to drive in silence and just think and absorb everything going on in my life today. I know as long as I put GOD first in my life everything will be alright and for that I’m grateful as well. Thy will not mine be done! Today I’m still just grateful to still be grateful!
