Jamal, so sorry for your loss! I can’t even fathom what you are going through. But I do know that drinking will make it exponentially worse.
I’ve seen many people in similar situations really leaning into AA meetings and sharing their grief.
Also grief counseling in addition is a suggestion. You’re going through an extremely traumatic experience but you shouldn’t be alone.
I’m here if you need to talk.

Death is hard thing to handle but it is important that we feel our grief and learn from it and share it we have to learn how to feel after not feeling for so long. I have experienced a lot of deaths the worse being my mother's I do understand and so do so many others!! It's awesome that you reached out! Smile it looks good on you

I know this is not quit the same as losing your fiance, but I lost my 14 yr old dog last week and I did drink, a lot. And it didn't bring her back and it didn't make me feel any better, I feel 10xs worse today and I have to start all over with the aweful withdrawals. I am sorry for your loss.

Prayers and hugs sent. You have my deepest condolences. Hmu anytime if u need to vent, cry, shout or want to use etc... I'll be there to listen without judgement.
