Dear Wife

When I asked for more time you wouldn't make any so I made some for myself. When I asked for intimacy you withheld it from me so I became closer to myself. When I expressed my anger (not even at you) you said I was reactive and dismissed me so I started journaling. My time, my closure and my anger all in my journal. I've been unlucky enough to even hear her say "why did I have to marry an alcoholic?" I keep all of in my heart while you walk around acting as if you do nothing wrong.

Oh man that’s tough. Well good for you looking out for yourself. Pray she comes around. Maybe she has some residual hostility that may work itself out? We are not easy on people during our using times.

Wow that's tough. I'm sorry you're battling with this right now. Like with addiction you are sick of being, then you're tired of being, then you've had enough, then you're done. I hope you get clarity soon both in life and addiction. Best wishes.

I can only control my actions and my outcomes.

Thank you Stephanie O. I can only control my actions and not challenge how others treat me. This process of mending myself will take time.
