Death stings

Death stings. Today I buried my uncle. He's my late dad's oldest brother. I thought losing my dad made me stronger- but it didn't.

Death still hurts. I just don't know how to just cope.

I think what made today hard, too, is the fact that my uncle was buried next to my dad and paternal grandparents and the grave yard is next to the intersection where my dad lost his life in accident.

I had a lot of emotions I had to deal with today. I hate that I had to relive the loss of my dad as I buried my uncle.

That's life.

Thank you Brittany.

Thank you so much Craig.

When my father passed years ago a man who gave the eulogy set my mind at ease. Said death isn’t an ending but a rebirth. You’ll be reunited someday. Just stay good and be what they would want you to be. I know my father and I will be together again. Just in a different reality. Our family lives through us after they move on. Make them proud. You’re a miracle for sure.
