My mom passed away last summer :desert_island: and it was probably the hardest summer of my life. She ended up in the nursing home and got more and more unresponsive. So I get it.

Hey girl. I just left recovery center because I found out My mom has stage 4 cancer in her lungs, ovaries, and tumor on her brain. You are not alone. U need someone to talk to holler at me

So sorry to hear this Tara, sounds like drowning in quicksand!
I would suggest not walking this path alone, suffering from depression may isolate you, but try to surround yourself with strong people in recovery!!!
Girl, you got a lot of love and support, use it!!!

@tara434580 those are two good reasons why you don't drink.
Drinking while depressed will take you down a real dark road.
Drinking while the brevity of life consumes your mom will also take you down a real dark road.
