Definitely a WE program. I'm starting to realize that. For so long in life I have always felt alone and as if I'm on my own island. Something happened and I woke up on a continent with more resources and places to reach out for help when in need. That's what LOOSID has done for me. It has given me the lifeline I need in life. As if the universe said, "this is where you will begin your new journey. There will be people who you connect with that will be with you as you walk. Some will come for the beginning to motivate you, then leave. Which is what there purpose was solely for. Others will stay for the long hall and help you focus on the rainbow ahead. Here you will find tools; that will help you on your journey and that you can eventually pass along to the person behind you. Finally, you will find HOPE here. Hope that today will be better than yesterday and even if it's not you'll still be able to see the good in the day. Which is being free and not controlled." Thats how I see LOOSID What does it mean to you and how has it helped? I'm curious to know and would enjoy to hear your comments..
You are right on. For me, it’s the community, a group of folks who get it, and each one has something to give.
I love finding an online community that i can be in touch with anytime i need it. On here, there’s always someone to talk to, someone to listen, too. It’s an extremely welcoming community. I venture to say it would be nearly impossible to find a MORE welcoming, judgment-free, place. I also like the aspect that maybe a post i share can help another person. Helps me feel like I’m DOING something.
Yes I agree. I have all ways felt alone.for all of my sobriety.I have people to call now .but for 30 years of sobriety I have been a lone except for meetings.like you working is a part of it.thank you tommy !!!!
It all can be traced in our DNA. Pack mentality. Watch my back while I go out and hunt or gather. Go out alone, get eaten.
