Welcome back

@michelle484400 and @kellee477365
I get it , trying to navigate the world of sobriety can be a daunting task.
I know for me it was coming to the conclusion that I'm allergic to alcohol and that if I have the first sip of the first drink then I'm off to the races.
Now trying to find quality people is a whole different task within itself. With 37 years of sobriety I'm still trying to find quality people. However I'm extremely grateful for those who are in my corner. You'll find them., they/we are out there and when you do find them hold on to them.
I'm here/hear for you.

Welcome to Loosid! ODAAT.

Well my sponsor told me to stick with the guys and stay away from the women. Especially in my first year of recovery. You let me know he told me that everyone gets a handshake if a woman comes to you you give a handshake not a hug. I've learned that drinking and drugging is not my only problem. My problem is the behaviors that come with drinking and drugging.

Welcome my name is Stephanie and I'm almost 7 years in recovery. I did it or rather I'm doing it through therapy as AA did nothing for me personally. Always here to talk and listen.

Hi Michael, I feel the same about being allergic to alcohol! I was sober for almost a year and am on my first day now. It definitely is haunting.....
