Divorce is final today, my work is very stressful, I love life and I love my children and grandkids. I have never lived alone, my dog is staying with my ex because of the backyard, dog house. Just feeling empty

I went thru the same thing 4 years ago. It’s gets easier. I still struggle being alone sometimes. I have forced myself to make friends and going out of my comfort zone and have learned to deal and live with my emotions and be ok. Keep your head up and stay strong
Luckily I wasn't married when I hit rock bottom. My girlfriend did leave me though. Don't blame her. We had been together for a while and she realized I would probably be the death of us both. The loneliness was real when she first left. Take the time to get to liking your own company. You'll thank yourself later.
