Does anyone else find sobriety lonely? I used to think

I've been feeling this way as well. I need to keep busy with things I like to do, that make me happy. I have 2 golden retrievers as well and they bring me so much joy ... one day at a time

Meetings help meeting new people

I can relate to what you're feeling. I am just starting to connect with people who are like me now and it took some time. Just keep going to meetings and reaching out to like-minded individuals and it will happen. Happy your here with us all.

I found it so hard to be social without alcohol. Now I choose non alcoholic beer. To me it doesn't matter that there's no alcohol in the can, I'm socializing. Budweiser and Guinness make very good na beers. Just a suggestion

It is lonely. Everyone will show up for your down fall but no body wants to be a part of you bettering yourself because then they have to self reflect and may look bad..and who wants that

Same....but finally got to where I can go out with all those drinking buddies and not drink so I'm just a designated driver all the time. NA Guinness are clutch!
