Does anyone else nit having anyone ever acknowledge the duration, succes, milestones, etc of your journey? I'd rather have someone "hounding" me or whatever than simply ignore me and not acknowledge, never mind an "atta boy" every now and then.

Real world people don’t understand this illness…and never will. That’s why a recovery community is so important. I don’t know if you do meetings, but sobriety is acknowledged, appreciated, and celebrated
