Does anyone get angry because you have to quit drinking?

Does anyone get angry because you have to quit drinking? There are many people who can have one or two drinks and quit but no not me I have to drink all the way to getting drunk and pass out. I am angry at my body for letting me down. I do come from a family of alcoholics but some were able to get sober and stay sober others not so much. Any feedback will be greatly appreciated

Hey Pam, I am a retired blackout artist. I tried too many times to moderate. I also made my own wine and enjoyed cocktails. It's all marketing garbage. Life has nothing to do with what drink your holding but whose hand your holding. Maybe I'm getting old but I believe that. I'm not getting old I'm ageing and I will never go back to the bottle....

Pam you don't ever have to quit drinking. It's your choice. I choose sobriety.
