Ahhh, you can always real AA and NA literature online at their dot orgs. Lots of reading

Or hit a local meeting and usually they have books to buy

Allen Carr’s Easy Way books are really great. As a woman, some of my favorites have been his Easy Way for Women to Quit Drinking and Quit Like a Woman by Holly Whitaker. They really helped with the shame component of having this disease. Good luck!

Recovery by Russell Brand is an excellent place to start. We are the Luckiest by Laura McKowen is great. My Fair Junkie by Amy Dresner is great too. And I second Quit like a Woman.

Hello i have not read the books previously mentioned but are on my list. Alcohol Explained by William Porter is easy to read and understand what alcohol does to your brain to keep you drinking. I went through IOP rehab and the book explained it alot better. Good luck and reach out anytime

The AA big book has been helping millions for over 80 years. I recommend that.

Agree!

This naked mind, alcohol explained, and kick the drink are all great.

Drink: the intimate relationship between women and alcohol is a great book.

I’m an alcoholic. My ex wife/mother of my 2 daughters is an alcoholic. I read a lot about women so that I can be prepared to help my daughters avoid what their mom and I couldn’t.

“We Are the Luckiest” Laura McKowen

A few women recommended The Little Red Book to me yesterday at a meeting.
