Does anyone have suggestions on good detox centers in the U.S.?
In my opinion all detox facilities are the same. A matter of fact one doesn’t need a detox facility to kick dope or alcohol.
Being that most centers now are medical.. detox has become much easier and softer.. that’s not a bad thing, but unless you have good insurance or lucky enough to land a county bed it’s going to cost. Call your local social services and they will most likely be able to provide further information on facilities.

I have insurance. I’m in MD but for the right detox could go elsewhere?
Call your county’s drug and alcohol number and ask for help. Or AA or NA hotline.
