Does anyone have suggestions on how to get energy up?

Does anyone have suggestions on how to get energy up? My alcoholism caused my iron deficiency so now I’m so lethargic if I don’t have my caffeine. I drink a lot of tea and I try to stick to more natural drinks, ones that get their caffeine from tea extracts, monster/Red Bull if I’m totally desperate. I get such strong headaches from my caffeine withdrawal on days I don’t have work, I’m not into the idea I traded one shitty morning for another. Help?

You need to see a doctor to get your iron corrected.
I read an article that said in the first 6-8 weeks of sobriety people often feel tired due to chemistry in the body re-adjusting. Clean diet, consistent sleep schedule and exercise. Those all should help.
Personally, working bout for at least 30 minutes first thing has helped me tremendously.
Hope this helps, stay sober, choose life!

Thanks for the advice!

Exercise is my go to. Love working out early in morning. Gives me energy for the day and then tired by night time to get some solid sleep.

I take iron supplements and b vitamins. I now have The occasional energy drink for work now but lots of vitamins for the first six months that help the body to adjust. I think I went caffeine free for the first 3-6 months.
