When you get sober, you need to be selfish and put yourself and your recovery first. This will mean letting go of people who do not support you on your journey.

Those who don't respect your wanting to not drink are not a true friend. Unfortunately they will only drag you down. It is sad but true. You need to put yourself first. It is not selfish the way people think, it is survival. Don't look back, forward is the only way. Best of luck on your journey.
