I had them around my 1 year mark; something about the brain-body connection and releasing trauma from stored up parts in your body. If you are waking up hungover, it could actually be a sign that you’re dehydrated. Try spreading your water intake out across the whole day if you are by chance just drinking a bunch of water at once. About as many ounces of water as your body weight to be nominally hydrated. Also, when undergoing detoxification, your body will actually get dehydrated, so eat a salt tablet or something to balance out your electrolytes lost.
You’re welcome. Stay strong
I definitely had stomach aches and headaches on and off for a few months. It does get better but i feel you that it's frustrating it takes so long. You want to feel better when you make good choices and it's hard sometimes to believe you will because of can take so long.
I didn't specifically have dreams about drinking but I've had anxiety dreams and restless sleep for most of my adult life. I thought drinking was helping me sleep and i didn't make the connection that I was sleeping badly on nights when I wasn't wasted because of all the pent up anxiety from drinking regularly. About three months after i quit, the dreams got much calmer.
I'm 5 months sober and still have them all the time.
