I remember feeling a lot of burnout abd exhaustion at about 2 months sober. After 30 days in rehab and another few weeks of outpatient I was just...over it all. And super tired. It does pass! For me fresh air and being active did help. As simple as a walk around the block or just sitting outside on days I was feeling really tired. And every day I'd find something to look forward to. Be proud of your 53 days! And I do think this will pass

It totally passes, meet some good friends at meetings or whatever… just do some stuff, get out of your head. I was lucky and had awesome friends early in sobriety, you get a different high and it gives you energy. I feel like it can be annoying when people say stuff like this but it’s not annoying when it happens:) hope it gets better and fast!

Don’t forget that feeling all these feelings is mentally and emotionally draining. We aren’t used to dealing with our emotions. We just numbed them. In early sobriety we open the flood gates of years of feelings. It is so exhausting. Don’t worry about it. It’s a good sign that you are working hard on your recovery

I second @soberinsoflo125132 You're not alone with the exhaustion. It's all those heavy feels. But it DOES get easier. You're doing great being here, being honest, and looking for help!

Totally identifiable. It took me about 6 months to begin not feeling exactly this. I’ve done a lot of research and you are exactly right, this is mostly your brain healing and it will heal. Self care helps, rest. Be patient and note the journey, the miracle will happen

Have you tried hitting a live meeting of AA? The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking. There should be plenty in your area:+1::+1: it works if you work it:+1::+1:

I wish u the best I've been going through something similar. I have 50 days. First 2 or 3 weeks were roughest for me. No more crutch a lot of bad headspace. Like u said just kinda wondering through days. Keep at it you're doing the right thing. Hope u make it to better days asap. U working a program? AA has been my rock through all this.

If AA is not your thing I'd suggest doing anything you are passionate about. Try to stay busy with work or hobbies. Anything positive.
