The desire to drink is not there as I apporach 6 years of Sobriety, yet what has me in fear is the new adventure God(Hp) has placed in front of me, the thoughts of the unknown, i am ending one adventure and starting another adventure, more responsibilities, further farther and faster, so i am focusing on acceptance and turning off the fear and putting one foot in front of the other, in “Action” is the next right thing.

Way to go on a big 6. Stay sober for another 365 days around the sun, and you'll get to experience more gifts of sobriety.

I heard in a meeting in a group I belonged in Vegas, "Today is a gift, that's why it is called 'The Present.'"

@mike313412 :tada::tada: CONGRATULATIONS :tada::tada: on your current sobriety days. Don't future trip. It will do just that trip you up. Don't let the fear of the unknown trip you up. All we have is today. God knows what He's doing. He will reveal himself as you trudge this road to a happy destiny. All you (we) have to do is suit up, show up, do the next indicated step (taking action) and watch what he'll do.
You got this. Again congratulations on your days of sobriety. Keep up the good work.

I’m excited for you. I’d rather face my next adventure with sobriety, awareness and clarity. To actually be in the moment and have choices, wow that’s freedom.

Mike, 6 years is massive! Fear of the unknown is real, but so is the strength you’ve built along the way. Keep walking forward
