Have had nonstop head pain for three weeks now. Second ER visit tonight and navigating pain sober is a whole new world for me. I asked for only non-habit forming pain relief, but my alcoholic brain of course started dreaming of all the ways I could numb. The doctor was great and understanding, but definitely in a new era learning to find alternatives. I always have to stay vigilant!

I hope your medical staff help you out. I've been ill in sobriety. Many docs are very good about treatment options given your needs. Please let us know what happens. You are in our prayers
