Over the years as I lived my life 10 years homeless out here in the streets of Casa Grande I had learned to be grateful for everything that I've ever gotten in life. Although I chose to be homeless because being at home with Mom came with rules. She always gave me a good life a good place to sleep good clothes on my back and food on the table. Those simple things I do not take for granted as I chose my life of addiction I believed I punished myself only to do what I only thought I could do was my drugs every now and then I would buy myself a little something but still never enough to be stable now I am so grateful for the stability I have thanks to the help of the sober livings and treatments that I endeared. So I always look to the positive side of everything and with that give a positive vibe so that I may be happy and the people around me maybe happy as well y'all have a blessed day and remember to thank God everyday for the blessings that he gives us in life I never take them for granted much love and respect only me Ruben Thomas
Hi, Thomas. So glad you're here! Thanks for sharing your story.
I'm grateful you have a mom who gave you so much love. Moms are awesome.
It's phenomenal that you have stability in life. It's sounds like sobriety has brought you so many amazing things. God is so good!
What did you enjoy most about sober living?
There are so many things to be grateful in sobriety I cannot pinpoint my favorite but so far I love the fact that I have a good relationship with God and in this relationship I am able to show the love and companionship that he has for us to others I am so happy to receive the blessings that he has given me just by being obedient to him as I am being used as a vessel for the goodness of God all glory to God much love and respect
Amen! God is so wonderful. In all things, remember to keep Him first. Never forget that He loves you!
