14 days sober and I still woke up at 4:00 a.m.. every night is different
It will get better. At least you’re not passing out and coming to. Try going to a meeting every night in person or on line. Pray for peace before you go to bed. Read sober literature before bed. Give yourself a break it takes about 30 days to be completely sober. Make an appointment with your doctor be honest. Maybe there’s a health issue. Keep posting we’re listening
Gabe, that’s totally normal in early sobriety. It’ll pass and you’ll get great sleep again soon. Just stay the course. In person meetings and reading the Big Book of AA really helped me sleep!
I 100% agree it is totally normal. I had nightmares for the first few years and anxiety. It has finally subsided after 3 1/2 years. I’m sorry it is this way but it does take time. Let’s just do it one day at a time I say.
