What is the most impressive lesson we covered? What relationships have been mended now that you are on a journey of recovery and how is each day different? Replies: The fact that a relapse is an event and not a stage of change, the fact that I was so high I would miss my sons games. Now that I am sober I have a relationship with my sister who lives next door. I feel like each day there is more to enjoy.
Wow! When you think that our groups were not making an impact, you get responses like these! I am grateful for having had the opportunity to work with this group. I am hopeful the two guys who had session 18 yesterday really work the journey.
I am grateful today for waking up sober and going to bed sober. I am grateful for today being the day Shiloh has her trip to be spayed and finish her rounds of shots. I am looking forward to taking her with me on the weekends to have playtime at BPPR!
