Too many times, I believe we look at what life looks like once we reach the end result we are looking for. Truth is, getting to a destination just signifies the end. On the journey itself, there are landscapes, waterfalls, etc. that will be your eye candy, and you enjoy it. Through our journey to sobriety, we gotta see the beauty in the changes of how we function, becoming more insightful, and being inspirational to others. Even the temptations we will face and not give in to them. That's a beautiful step we must congratulate ourselves on. The journey is more powerful than the destination.

I’ve really honed on this myself ever since Covid and the pure enjoyment in my day to day increased exponentially. Once you strip away fulfillment from solely external sources and success you realize the ultimate reward is life itself and each thing we do with the 24 hours (journey) we are given is the achievement of a lifetime because all we have is the present moment.
