Yeah, some pretty scary neighborhoods in Rockford. When the GM factory in Janesville closed and then what was the Chrysler Fiat factory in Belvedere went from three shifts down to two it really hurt the economy there. A lot of the manufacturing going on there was serving those plants.
I’ll never make my 7:30 am meeting at this rate.
Just emailed my employer and told him I’d be in late but it really throws me off when I miss my morning Zoom meeting and a friend of mine has been running it on Wednesdays.

I moved from illinois in the mid nineties as a teenager and I had no idea what actually took place other than the fact that the city, it took a book deep decline. My cousin alerted me to that much. It showed me around town enough to see how much it had changed. That's really sad. I hope they can get.This city back.
