My family are huge alcohol drinkers on the holidays what's one way to cope with it

I had the same issue. Lost both patents to booze so we are all basically addicts.
At first it was tough. They felt guilt from drinking and I felt bored from sobriety.
Eventually we got to a point where we can all hang out. I don't last long once they get a good buzz.
It ain't easy....there isn't a perfect solution.

Find a meeting - find local recovery friends that can hang out and hit a meeting or find hobbies to do sober
