Fasting for Ramadan

This year I'm grateful to be able to do this in memory of those less fortunate, that struggle to figure out where their next meal will come from.

I couldn't do this last year because I was fresh out of rehab and heavily medicated.

I couldn't do it for many years before rhat because I couldn't go more than an hour or to without a drink, let alone from food and water as well from sun up to sun down. I was putting nearly 2,500 calories of whiskey into my body every day.

As I pray and meditate this year, and as I refrain from other bad habits, I also ask for relief for those that are still sick and suffering from this horrible disease.
