I just feel like I want to give up. I can't seem to catch a break this year and its not even a month into this year. I found out that I have to selfpay for college because of a crappy professor last term and I have no idea how I'm going to do that. My grandpa died and my uncle waited 3 days before telling anyone and already had him cremated before telling anyone so we couldn't even have a proper goodbye for him. I just want to give up on everything. Sorry for the long post.

Do you mind if I ask what happened with the professor that they are making you pay for college now? Do you have FAFSA?
I am so sorry about your grandpa. Losing a loved one is never easy and your experience made it even harder. Are you able to honor him in your own way?

Second..Your 7 years 11 months into your sobriety. Think about what you'd be giving up.
Third... Start looking into supplemental scholarships.
You can do this. Stay close to your God/Higher power.
