My heart was very sad. It took time to reconnect with the real me.
They offered me hope at the meetings. I felt like I finally belonged somewhere, after not fitting in anywhere. Such a relief. I'm no longer alone. I got my fellow members that "get" me.
Go to meetings and ask for a phone list,your not alone
T.I.M.E. Things I Must Earn. AA and a GOD of my understanding a dash of willingness (an open mind) conceding to my innermost self my powerlessness. WE do recover!! It works. It really does!! 
You're not alone brotha, keep your head up and remember to take it one day at a time. Small victories are easier than big ones.
