Feeling alone lately

Cant seem to find new people to have around me and its starting to get heavy

Are you going to in person AA/NA meetings? I had to go to lots of in person meetings and pick up service commitments. I met lots of people that became really good friends.

Have you been through all 12 steps yet?
How many people do you sponsor?
How many meanings do you chair?
How many service commitments do you have?

I don't chair a lot of meetings but I do them.
There's a service commitment that I go to at a rehab place.
I'm currently hoping two people get through the 12 steps.

Are you lonely or are you looking for someone to share your bed? Those are two different things you know.

These responses are ridiculous… Connection and communication is hugely needed, even if they don’t outperform you. He may get there, but right now he is asking for support from the community, not more judgement that makes it easier to grab the bottle…

No I went to the one close to me live in small town and wasn't a fan of it

Appreciate the understanding you nailed it. I feel like I have no one to talk to. It's a constant battle in my head. I have nowhere to vent to share thoughts it's like I I only exist to myself I'm the only one

Small towns are a challenge to find lots of in person meetings.
In my early sobriety I went to or attempted to go to 90 different meetings in 90 days. I quickly found the meetings and people that I actually liked and enjoyed.
I’m here if you want to talk or have any questions
