Feeling Alone

So I am just realizing that I have truly cut off everyone. I don't have anyone to call to spend time with and I am feeling very alone. I go into treatment on the 31st. I am representing myself in a custody case on Friday. Any prayers would be so very appreciated.

Hi Rebekah. You are not alone. We have needed help. Glad you spoke up on here. Sending prayers to you. Please know staying sober truly helps. Take it from me who relapsed after 2 years just a few days ago.

I can imagine you feel alone with all of that but your not. You have so many people here cheering you on. So many people in the rooms, especially. If you can get to a meeting, go. That loneliness will cease and you’ll find so much in person support.
If you believe in pray or meditation, take a moment. Turn off the t.v., put down your phone and “pray” for guidance and through this.
I imagine all of this is very, very difficult but I know you can do it… today. Just start.

You are not alone ! You have us and you will meet people in treatment. Sometimes there are people we need space from while trying to be the best we can and if someone isn’t helping your situation it is better to let them go. Sending love and positive vibes !

Prayers are almost worthless. I'll cross my fingers for you? It's a polite gesture, but that's about it. Get to some AA/NA meetings and start making heathy relationships with healthy boundaries in place. This will serve you so much better and be far more rewarding than any amount of prayers ever will. Check out the women's AA groups. The women in those groups really look out for eachother. Get involved, live and thrive.

Rebekah, you are never alone in Gods world. When the next thing you are about to lose becomes more important than using, you will be on your way to recovery. Remember that without your sobriety, everything else will disappear. Trust me I know. I have 2 years and I almost lost a
Relationship with my kids. Trust God, clean house and help others. That has to be the new you! Better, stronger, new and improved. You got this…because it’s so worth having!!!
